You are talking about losing maggette/brand/cassel and upgrading with baron/camby/gordon but that is way off. First Brand was out all last season excluding 8 games, so there was never a chance for him to play with kaman which I don't think you brought up. Second Baron is a HUGE upgrade vs. cassel so that doesn't even make sense. Thornton plays sf where maggs was so that is probably almost a no lose position. Brand is better than camby but camby brings more defense and with kaman/baron/thorn scoring I think we get enough of the O we need. Plus camby can hit the open mid-range so that will keep kaman single coverage. Agreed we need more but not much more, elite bench sf and c/pf and we are good to go. If everyone stays healthy I am calling we are making a run at #4 spot with all the pieces added I mentioned. We would have the best post D in the league immediately.
