When I saw the full-page preview in USA Today, I grimaced. The actual product made me groan. If they tone down the phtoshop fx, or even go retro with a 85 or 100 line screen, it'd look a lot better (and closer to it's model, the 1940s-60s comics pages)! The content is great and it a) took longer to read and b) was more interesting than most other $4 books I've bought in the last year. If I'm given a choice between "cheap" newsprint with great stories and super nice high gloss paper with average stories, I know where my money is going.
